SARASWATI PUJA ON CAMPUS
The veneration of the Vedic Goddess of Wisdom and her worship is common among the students of India in general and Bengal in particular. We observe Saraswati Puja here at EIILM-Kolkata Jalpaiguri campus by invoking her blessings. Cultural programmes are also performed by students on this auspicious day and it provides yet another scope to them for showcasing their extracurricular talents. The entire planning is done by the students’ and it is the only who conduct the entire event ending with the immersion of the idol.
ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION
Every corporate has the responsibility of reducing the global carbon footprint through various activities. We at EIILM-Kolkata Jalpaiguri campus observe World Environment Day on the 5th of June every year, by eco-consciousness promoting activities such as No Plastic Week, Plantation activity on the Campus, Sapling Distribution, Kite Flying Kites with important environment-related slogans written on them, for raising awareness among the youth.
RABINDRA JAYANTI
It is a grand celebration day for the Bengalis to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Noble Laureate, poet and entrepreneur, Rabindra Nath Tagore who has inspired generations of Indians. The Tagorephiles in the EIILM Community recreates an environment to remember Tagore’s literary works by recitation, short plays and Rabindra Sangeet.
SPORTS DAY
The Institute arranges college annual sports events like cricket, badminton tournament once a year which involves participation from all students and staff. Various in-house activities like chess and carom are also conducted. Students of EIILM-Kolkata Jalpaiguri campus participated in several cricket, and indoor games tournament organized by different colleges and universities also.
MANGO FESTIVAL
The Mango Festival is an annual celebration at EIILM Kolkata’s Jalpaiguri Campus, blending the joy of summer’s favorite fruit with vibrant cultural expression. The event features a variety of cultural performances, competitions, and mango-themed activities, offering students a platform to showcase their talents and embrace tradition in a festive, collaborative atmosphere.
EJC BRISKERS
EJC Briskers is the annual academic and cultural fest of EIILM Kolkata – Jalpaiguri Campus, held to warmly welcome freshers. Featuring a blend of competitions, performances, and interactive events, it offers new students a vibrant platform to showcase their talents, connect with peers, and become part of the EIILM community.
HR CONCLAVE
The HR Conclave at EIILM Kolkata – Jalpaiguri Campus is an annual industry-academia interface where HR leaders from various sectors connect with students through discussions, insights, and networking opportunities, helping bridge the gap between campus and corporate.
